La Noisette make all their French Pastries on-site, with their close-knit friendly team, so walking into this shop always smells delicious. La Noisette has a genuinely boutique feel and the team work their craft with true passion.

It’s usually busy with regulars coming from far and wide, returning for the melt-in-the-mouth pastry experience only a true French chef such as Oscar can achieve.

The scents of fresh baking, and chocolate fancies stop people in their tracks. La Noisette Chocolats & Patisseries has been operating since 2013. Come here earlier to get the freshest pastries straight from the oven, do yourself a flavour and get some extra takeaway treats to enjoy later – they are truly merveilleux.

A firecracker ball of energy, Oscar is well-known in Auckland foodie scene, with a wealth of experience built over many years working at some of the top eating establishments, The Grove Restaurant, Sky City, Philippes Chocolates & Pastries, Fridge Café, Langham Hospitality to name a few.

Zhipeng Zhou (aka Sam) has come to the foodie industry with a traditional business background, little did he know he’d find himself immersed in the catering industry… he is the reason La Noisette Chocolats & Patisseries exists today (you’ll want to thank him after your first Croissant)

Sam finds that he is able to connect with people on an individual level. By sharing music, new ideas, as well as matching you to your perfectly authentic hot chocolate and mochaccino… have you indulged in one of Sam’s La Noisette Café Mocha ~ using 70% Callebaut Chocolate!!?

One of his favourite questions is “why?”…so if you’re into philosophic discussions Sam is your man!
